Josephine Kim, MD specializes in providing comprehensive care for women with gynecologic malignancies including surgery, chemotherapy, and long-term surveillance following treatment. Her focus is on providing individualized and compassionate care to women diagnosed with ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar, and vaginal cancers. She completed her fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Chicago/NorthShore University HealthSystem program. Her recent research has focused on endometrial cancer prevention using potential chemopreventive agents and on postoperative chemotherapy duration in ovarian cancer patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy. She is also interested in quality improvement and surgical outcomes research.
