The University of Chicago Faculty Practice (“the Practice”) Board is made up of eighteen regular members and six at-large members. The Practice Board’s regular members are the Dean for Clinical Affairs (who serves as the board chair), the EVP for Medical Affairs, the BSD Vice Dean of Academic Administration and Finance, the Chief Administrative Office, and the Chairs of the Clinical Departments – all of whom serve without term limit so long as they occupy their respective roles. The at-large membership allows for broader representation from the clinical faculty and is comprised of six faculty clinicians elected by all Practice members to serve two-year terms.
